Hay algo que me está interesando mucho últimamente y es la incorporación de movimiento en mis fotografías. Creo que les da un toque especial, agrega una suerte de magia a la producción en sí. Mi intención a través de este blog no es solo mostrar ropa sino también hacer un juego creativo, que vos vengas y veas algo que te guste, algo que despierte en vos una sonrisa, una inspiración, un recuerdo.

Me enamoré de este vestidito apenas lo ví. Una vez que me lo probé supe que tenía que ser mío. Es lindo y femenino...

Happy friday everyone! :)
There´s something that I´ve been drawn to very much lately, that is adding movement to my pictures. I think it makes them more special, creating a magical effect. My intention through this blog is not only to feature my clothes but also develop a creative game... So that you come here and see something that you like, something that makes you smile, inspires you, reminds you of something you went through. 
I fell in love instantly with this cute dress. After trying it on I knew it had to be mine. Its pretty and feminine...

NAVY-ISM

Una de mis tendencias favoritas es la navy. A decir verdad más que tendencia es prácticamente un clásico, ya que es muy común ver prendas rayadas aparecer en las nuevas colecciones año a año. Son ítems fáciles de combinar que agregan un toque de onda y sofisticación a un look. Para hacer este outfit aún más interesante agregué un pañuelo floreado, que en realidad es el pedazo de tela que les comenté que compré en Tel Aviv. ¿No es muy lindo? 

Octubre es para mí un mes especial, por un lado es el mes de mi cumpleaños y por otro, este año se suma el primer aniversario de FashionistArg... Por ese motivo decidí hacer un sorteo pequeño pero muy copado para todos los que están del otro lado acompañandome! Voy a estar posteando las reglas y fotos de los premios en muy pocos días... Estén atentos!

Qué me puse? remera Old Navy, shorts y collar Forever 21, chatitas doradas Zara, cartera Bershka, gafas Prada y reloj Swatch

One of my ultimate favorite trends is the navy inspired one. I actually believe it´s becoming more of classic, rather than a trend, given it´s very normal to see striped clothes in the new collections as years go by. Striped items are very easy to pair and I think the add an instant special touch and sophistication to an outfit. To make this look  slightly more interesting I added a flowery scarf, which is actually the piece of fabric that I told you I purchased at Tel Aviv. Isn´t it cute?

October is a very special month to me. On the one hand it´s the month of my birthday and then as of this year I´m adding FashionistArg´s anniversary too... For that reason I decided to do a small yet pretty cool giveaway for all of you who are on this journey with me! I´ll be posting the rules and the pictures of the prizes very soon... Stay tuned!

EXTREME BLOGGING

Una de las cosas que más me gusta de mi trabajo es la posibilidad que me da de conocer gente nueva, de otros países y culturas. En Tel Aviv conocí y trabajé con Kfir, un fotógrafo muy copado. Una vez que hubo suficiente confianza entre nosotros, me atreví a preguntarle si querría hacer algunas fotos para el blog y me dijo que sí. 

Mi intención era hacer algunas fotos con la pared de corazones que se ve en las primeras fotos, pero luego seguimos caminando y adentrándonos en los alrededores del barrio... Y así nació el post que comparto con ustedes hoy: Extreme Blogging! Trepé paredes, pegué saltos ridículos, me metí entre los pasillos de un mercado cerrado -totalmente oscuro- y tomamos fotos de noche (cosa que nunca hago porque detesto como el flash me quema la piel y me veo cual vampiro!).

Espero que disfruten las fotos... fue muy divertido hacerlas para mí.

One of the things I love the most about my job is the opportunity I get to meet new people, from other countries and cultures. In Tel Aviv I met and worked with Kfir, a very cool photographer.  When we felt at ease with each other I asked him whether he´d be up for shooting some photos for the blog and he agreed.

My intention was just to make a post using the wall with hearts (seen on the first two pictures) as a background, but then we continued walking and exploring other spots of the neighborhood… And that´s how this “extreme blogging” post came to life! I climbed over walls, jumped up ridiculously, walked into the halls of a closed street market –which was completely dark btw- and we took pictures at night (which I never do to avoid looking like a vampire… thank you flash!).

I hope you enjoy the pictures… it was a lot of fun for me!

OH NEON!

El lunes pasado tuve el placer de conocer en persona a Arden Rubens la creadora de TOPCOAT, un blog de -mayoritariamente- contenido editorial. Una gran fanática de la moda, Arden tiene una debilidad por las revistas de moda, siendo Vogue su predilecta. Visitar su blog es puro placer visual, ya que tiene muy buen gusto al momento de seleccionar qué compartir. Sus posts son súper inspiradores, si no la conocen, hagan click aquí!

Al poco tiempo de llegar a Tel Aviv me puse en contacto con ella y coordinamos una blogger date para poder conocernos y hacer algo juntas. Después de un rico ice-coffee y mucha charla, nos fuimos a Nahalat Binyamin que es la calle a donde venden telas (un mini once, ponele). Paseamos un rato por ahí y por supuesto me quería comprar las mil telas. Pero después recordé que vivo de gira, no tengo tiempo ni una máquina de coser a mano... asique me conformé con un metro de algodón de seda estampado con flores muy lindo, que ya van a ver acá en el blog dentro de poco! Muy cerquita hay un mercado enorme a donde se puede comprar de todo: sombreros, comida, cuadros, bijou, cinturones, ropa interior, etc. Bien al estilo mercado! Y como no podía ser de otra forma, aprovechamos para tomar unas fotos para el blog! Hay mucha controversia con la presencia del fluo este verano y mientras que no es mi tendencia favorita, esta remera me pudo.

Estoy muy agradecida que el blog me haya acercado a gente con quien comparto la misma pasión por el mundo de la moda y la belleza. :) Gracias Arden por tu compañía y buena onda!

Last Monday I had the great pleasure of meeting Arden Rubens, the creator and editor of TOPCOAT, a blog that´s mainly filled with amazing fashion editorial posts. Arden loves fashion and has a weak spot for magazines, Vogue being her favorite. Since she has very good taste and is very selective, visiting her blog is pure visual delight. Her posts are so inspiring... so in case you don´t know her yet click here! 

Shortly after arriving at Tel Aviv I got in contact with her and we arranged a little blogger date (LOL) to get to know eachother and hang out. So, after a yummy ice coffe and nonstop chit chat, we headed to Nahalat Binyamin the street where you can buy fabric and related stuff. Naturally I wanted to buy a million different fabrics... But then I remembered that I live on tour, hence I have no time nor a sewing machine to play around with. Nonetheless I bought one meter of an amazing silk-cotton flowered fabric, that you´ll see on the blog very soon! We also wandered inside a market nearby where you could find anything: hats, food, paintings, accessories, belts, underwear, etc. And of course we did some OOTD pictures! I know there´s a big controversy about the whole neon trend this summer... and while it´s not my favorite, this t-shirt was too cute for me to resist. 

I´m so glad that having a blog has given me the chance to get to know so many amazing people with who I share the same passion for fashion and beauty. :) Thank you Arden for your company and loveliness!

BLUE REMIX

En el post de hoy les traigo un vestido que ya mostré en este espacio, solo que remixado de un modo distinto. Creo que es importante aprender a ver una misma prenda de diferentes formas para aprovechar al máximo su potencial y no aburrirnos ni estancarnos en una misma idea.

En azul en claroscuro les mostré este vestido en un outfit más casual y óptimo para un día de otoño. En el caso de hoy les traigo algo más veranil, libre y apto para una salida en la cálida noche de Tel Aviv. 

¿Qué les parece esta propuesta? 

Qué me puse? Vestido de H&M, wedges de yute de Payless Shoesource (panamá), cartera Carpisa, gafas Rayban, collar de una tiendita en panamá y aritos de Bilka. 

Por otro lado, quería agradecer a Meli de Como Te Pintaste y a Flor de Bella Florencia 15 que me dedicaron el siguiente premio:

Como parte del premio me toca escribir 5 cosas extrañas de mí. Vamos a interpretar extraño como especial, como para que no connote en algo freak. :) 
Here we go:

1) Casi nunca veo televisión y jamás puedo dormir con la tele prendida porque me da pesadillas.

2) Soy diseñadora de modas pero vivo de gira trabajando con una exhibición de dinosaurios (?).

3) Siempre tengo 2 ó 3 (a veces más) productos para labios en la cartera. Mis labios secos requieren de constante asistencia y rehidratación. Por lo general llevo un bálsamo, un lipstick y un gloss. 

4) Soy fanática de los cereales. Siempre me gustaron... Mis preferidos actualmente son los Special K Fruit & Yogurt, los cheerios de miel y los Nesquik.

5) Viajo a todos lados con mi almohada. Es bien finita, de plumas y por lo general uso una puntita de la misma. No la cambio por nada!

For today´s post I´m wearing a dress that you´ve already seen here on the blog though styled in a different way. I think it´s very important to learn how to see each garment from various perspectives, creating different looks. Otherwise it´d be easy to get bored and stuck in one  idea.

In the post azul en claroscuro I wore this same dress but in a more casual outfit, perfect for fall. In today´s post I bring you a more summery and free alternative... perfect for a night out in warm Tel Aviv.   

How do you feel about this look?

On the other hand, i was awarded by two lovely ladies: Meli from Como Te Pintaste and  Flor from Bella Florencia 15 . In english, the award means "your blog inspires me". Of course i felt super excited to be chosen! 

As a part of the award, i have to list 5 weird things about me! I´d like to consider weird as special, so you guys don´t think i´m a freak... OK? 
Here we go:

1) I hardly ever watch TV and I can never leave it on at night, otherwise I´ll have nightmares -guaranteed-. 

2) I´m a fashion designer, but I live on tour working for a dinosaur exhibition (?).

3) I always have 2 or 3 (if not more) lip products in my bag. My dry lips require constant assistance and re-hydration. I tend to carry 1 lip balm, 1 lipstick and 1 gloss. 

4) I´m a big cereal fan. I´ve just always liked them... My current favorites are Special K Fruit & Yogurt, honey nut Cheerios and the Nesquik ones.

5) Everywhere I travel to I take my pillow with me. It´s very thin and made of feathers. I usually lay my head on the very edge of it. I wouldn´t change it for anything!

SHALOM: Sheer + fresh!

Shalom a tod@s! 

Me reporto desde Tel Aviv, Israel, después de unos cuantos días sin postear nada... Estoy trabajando tantas horas que si paso más de 10 minutos por día en la compu tengo suerte. Espero sepan disculpar mi ausencia! :) 

De todos modos, por más cansancio y falta de tiempo que tenga, la moda nunca se abandona y me las rebusqué para sacar unas fotos!

Hace mucho calor acá... Parecido a Buenos Aires en pleno verano. Ese calor insostenible con humedad que convierte todo en chicle. Caminás 3 cuadras y ya estás muriendo de sed y cada paso te agota. Asique los outfits son bastante ligeros. Este tipo de camisitas livianas son ideales para no ir completamente desnuda (y menos a trabajar) pero conservando la frescura!

I´m posting from Tel Aviv, Israel, after a few days of absolute disappearance... I´m working such long hours that if I´m extremely lucky I get a chance to be at the computer for 10 minutes. I hope you can forgive my slight absence.   :)

Anyways... despite the fact that i´m very tired and have no spare time at all, fashion is something that i never ignore. So I managed to snatch some pictures!

It´s extremely hot over here... it reminds me of Buenos Aires in the middle of summer. Unbearable humid heat... after walking three blocks you are already thirsty and every step you take feels exhausting. For that reason i try to keep my outfits light. An easy breezy blouse like this one is the perfect item to wear in order to avoid showing too much (especially when going to work) yet remain fresh.
