LE MINI BACKPACK

Buen domingo para todos! Espero que puedan aprovecharlo para descansar y disfrutar sus familias ᴖ_ᴖ

Hace un tiempo que empezamos a ver el regreso de un accesorio muy importante y que había perdido vigencia en las tiendas: la mochila! Una tendencia que sin dudas me gustó desde el primer momento... Las mochilas tienen un encanto muy particular, además de ser muy prácticas, pero debo admitir que tardé bastante hasta encontrar una que fuese perfecta para mí. Las grandotas en telas estampadas y con vivos de cuero no son muy mi onda, las veo más indicadas para esos festivales de música como Coachella donde la onda boho-chic se impone, con su mix de texturas, denim roto, encajes y transparencias.

Era solo cuestión de paciencia hasta que apareciera la indicada... Hace un par de semanas encontré esta pequeña belleza con flecos y encima a un 65% de descuento. Era la última así que no lo pensé 2 veces y la llevé. Me encanta porque es del tamaño perfecto para mis días libres, donde sólo salgo con lo mínimo e indispensable. 

Qué opinan de las mochilas? Yay or Nay?

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you are enjoying it to the fullest... hopefully getting some rest and spending time with your loved ones. ᴖ_ᴖ

For a while now we´ve been seeing how a very popular bag has made its wat back to the trendy side of things... I´m talking about none other than: the backpack! This is a trend that I´ve been loving from the beginning... I feel that backpacks have a ver peculiar charm, besides being very practical and useful,  but I must admit It took me a while to find the right one for me. The big ones made with ethnic-inspired prints and leather trims are really not my cup of tea. Those look more coachella-festival appropriate where boho chic is the mother of styles with its mix of prints, lace, sheer and washed out denim. 

Anyways, it was just a matter of time until I´d come accross the right backpack for me... A few weeks ago I got this little fringed beauty AND I snatched it for 65%off. It was the very last one on the shelf so I didn´t think about it twice and bought it. I love it bcause its the perfect size for my days off, fitting the essentials only!

♥ Colección de makeup + organización ♥ / Travel Edition

Feliz Viernes! 
Hoy quería compartir con ustedes un video que muchas querían ver: Mi colección de maquillaje. Pero como no estoy en mi casa en este caso van a ver, como dice el título, la "travel edition" o edición de viaje. Además de mostrarles lo que me llevo cuando viajo así por mucho tiempo -en el caso de Bruselas son aproximadamente 3 meses- quería mostrarles la forma en que organizo todo para que quede bien presentado y poder sentirme "en casa" a pesar de estar a miles de kilómetros de la misma. 

Antes que nada quisiera aclarar que a mí me gusta mucho ver este tipo de videos y para mí fue muy divertido hacerlo... Pero bajo ningún punto de vista es mi intención alardear de las cosas que tengo ni mucho menos. Hace poco más de 3 años que empecé a interesarme en el mundo del makeup y la belleza, con lo cual he ido armando mi colección de a poco e invirtiendo en mis productos. Me encanta probar diferentes marcas, de las accesibles y las más caras también e ir encontrando así productos que contribuyen a mi estilo personal de todos los días.

Obsession d´Orange

Con cada nueva estación y sus respectivas colecciones que van inundando el mercado, hay diferentes colores, estampados y texturas que toman protagonismo, para después  de unos meses disiparse como la niebla dando lugar a los nuevos favoritos. 

En mi caso, hay un color que hace bastante tiempo ya me tiene cautivada y es el NARANJA. Como podrán apreciar en los detalles del diseño del blog y en el outfit del día de hoy es un color que me encanta. No sé si será porque se fusiona y combina con el color de mi pelo o qué, pero me fascina! 

Por otro lado, aquellos que me sigan en instagram o facebook habrán visto que volvió el flequillo! Para los que no, lo notarán hoy... Y no vino solo, también fue acompañado de unos lindos tijeretazos! Ya verán el look mejor en los próximos posts. La verdad es que el rebajado que me había hecho se deformó todo y ya no me gustaba nada. Así que tal como dice el dicho, cortamos por lo sano! 

Y ustedes...¿Con qué color tienen fanatismo total?

With the arrival of each new season and its new collections that overflow the fashion market, there are always certain colors, prints and textures that stand out and set trends. But this tends to last for a few months only, and soon enough they´re gone and replaced with new favorites. 

In my case, there´s a color that I´ve been very much in love with for a while now and its Orange. You might notice that some of the details in my blog´s design are orange and of course you can see it on today´s look. I don´t really know why I like it so much... maybe it´s because I feel like it blends and matches my hair color. In any case I´m fascinated by it. 

On another note, those of you who follow me on I instagram or facebook might have seen that I got bangs again! And not only that, I also chopped off a few inches! You´ll see the new look better in the future posts. The truth is, I wasn´t happy at all with the layering I had, I felt like it lost shape and I didn´t like it. So bye bye ugly layers! Hello long bob! 

Now the question is...Which color are you totally smitten with?

NEW JEANS + CHERRY LIPS

Julio es el mes de las rebajas. Se acerca el final de otra estación con lo cual es un excelente momento para aprovechar y hacernos de nuevas prendas a precios más amigables. En Argentina están a pleno con las rebajas de invierno, en Bruselas con las de verano. Así que estuve visitando las típicas department stores europeas famosas por sus rebajas: Zara, Mango y H&M. En algún video o futuro post les mostraré lo que compré... Pero hoy quería destacar sólo una de mis nuevas adquisiciones: estos Polka-dot skinny Jeans.

Algo que me encantó fue su textura, un lavado que insinúa como trama unos pequeños lunares o "polka dots", como los llaman por todos lados. Son simples, pero con un toque especial. Apretados pero apenitas elastizados, para mayor comodidad. Un gran hallazgo. 

Creo que la época de las rebajas está buenísima, pero hay que saber qué comprar y no dejarse engañar... En principio no recomendaría comprar algo que sea MUY de temporada... si es de algún color, estampado o textura que se usó demasiado lo más probable es que al año siguiente ya no se use y entonces hayas desperdiciado tu dinero. Lo ideal es comprar esas prendas más bien clásicas que suelen mantenerse vigentes en el placard con el correr de los años, pero pagando menos por ellas. Blazers, pantalones, sweaters, vestidos... hay de todo! Por otro lado, hay que mirar bien la etiqueta!! Sólo porque sea ROJA no significa que el descuento sea significativo. A veces ese truco visual nos juega muy en contra... porque asociamos la etiqueta roja con "ofertón" y a veces el descuento es muy pequeño.  

Espero que les guste el look! Clásico pero con toques de rojo para que no se vea aburrido... En los labios estoy usando mi nuevo lip pencil de Mac, en #Cherry, que me ENCANTA! Es espectacular, dura muchísimo y es un rojo muy bonito!

The month of July means SALES time. The end of another season is near so it´s a great moment to buy some new pieces but for friendlier prices. While in Argentina winter sales are happening... In Brussels, like in the rest of Europe and the US, we have summer sales. So, naturally I took advantage of my free time to go and check out the famous European department stores: Zara, Mango and H&M. In a future video or post I´ll show everything I bought, but today I just wanted to show you guys just one of my new things: these polka-dot skinny jeans. 

Something that I loved about them was the effect on its wash, like a little polka-dot texture. They are simple jeans, but with a special touch... tight but a little stretchy, so they´re slightly more comfortable. A great find!

I think that sale-season is awesome, BUT it´s important to know HOW and WHAT to buy... I wouldn´t recommend buying anything that´s too trendy. If it was all over the place this season, then most likely it won´t be around the next one. Usually this comes in a specific texture, print or color scheme. So watch out, because you could get stuck with something you won´t use and was a total waste of money. The best thing is to purchase those classic pieces that are timeless and you always need. Those are the ones that remain closet staples for years.  On the other hand, look closely at the price tag! Just because it´s red it doesn´t mean that it’s a bargain, so make sure you check to see what kind of discount you´re getting. 

I hope you like this outfit! Very classic but with hints of red to make it more fun... On my lips I´m wearing my new #Cherry lip pencil from Mac, and I love it! It´s amazing and lasts forever… not to mention that I love that shade of red!
