CIAO ROMA!

¡Hola desde ROMA!

Gracias a mi trabajo estaré viviendo en ésta magnífica ciudad un tiempo... Y si la experiencia se asemeja al menos en un porcentaje a lo que viví el año pasado en Torino,  seguramente sea una muy linda y memorable. La italiana es una cultura con la que estoy de acuerdo en varias cosas: son seres pasionales y expresivos, saben de comida (hola aceite de oliva, a vos te hablo!) y les encanta la moda. Digo ésto por mencionar algo, pero ya con eso vamos por buen camino... 

Si bien, como en todas las ciudades a donde me toca ir, voy a tener un ritmo intenso de trabajo, voy a hacer todo lo posible para disfrutar Roma, conocerla y fotografiarla... para así ir mostrando en el blog sus paisajes y mis looks! Por supuesto, voy a ir al revés que la mayoría de ustedes que me leen desde lugares donde están abrazando la primavera y pronto llega el verano. 

Mientras que yo no veo la hora de empezar a usar botas y sweaters ustedes deben estar deseando deshacerse ellos! jaja 

El domingo, con Gui, pudimos descansar y salir a pasear un poco. Este fue mi #OOTD! Nada del otro mundo, simple y cómodo para caminar y disfrutar. Voy a estar posteando fotos en mi Instagram, si quieren pueden buscarme como fashionistarg. :)

Hi from Rome!

Thanks to my job I´ll be living in this amazing city for a while... And if the experience is at least similar to what last year´s stay at Torino was like, then I´m sure it´ll be delightful and filled with nice memories. I have to say, I agree with many aspects of the italian culture: they are passionate beings, the know about food (hi there olive oil, it´s you I'm taking about!) and they have a soft spot for fashion. That, to say the least, are a few things I like and you can probably tell that they are on the right track!

Of course, and just as it tends to happen in every city I go to, i´ll be very busy with work. However, I´ll do my best to enjoy Rome as much as I can... Walking around, getting to know it, taking pictures... Of course I´ll be sharing the city sights and my outfits here on the blog. Most likely, I´ll be going against the current, given that most of you are from places where the seasons are opposite and while I transition to winter you are transitioning into summer!  

On sunday, with my boyfriend Gui, we enjoyed some down time and later decided to go out and walk around Rome a bit. This was my #OOTD. Not a big deal... just a simple and comfortable outfit to walk lots and enjoy even more. I´ll be posting more pics on my instagram, feel free to check it out. you can find me as fashionistarg. :)

Una de las tendencias que observé del verano en europa, y que seguro llegue de alguna forma interpretado al mercado argentino, fue la presencia de sweaters holgados. Tejidos con diferentes materiales, en su mayoría de colores claros y muy vaporosos, de puntos sueltos para que no sean calurosos sino más bien frescos son excelentes aliados para un día lindo, en el cual está un poco nublado o ventoso y no queremos ir muy desabrigadas. Son muy cómodos, pero hay que tener cuidado porque se enganchan con todo y se saltan los hilos!

Para un outfit de domingo, uno de éstos es perfecto para aportar comodidad y un poquito de onda. 

Qué les parece ésta tendencia? Se sumarían o no?

AL FIN, UN TRENCH!

Hace mucho tiempo que quería incorporar un trench a mi colección de ropa... Y con las rebajas de Zara y sus tentadores descuentos, no me pude seguir resistiendo. No fue una ganga, porque vamos -como dicen en España- no es una remerita! Igual, era una  buena oportunidad y no la desaproveché. 

Una prenda que sin lugar a dudas nos transmite una vibra londinense, de la cual culpamos enteramente a Burberry, es un gran aliado para esos días nublados, algo frescos y en los cuales asoma la lluvia. Supongo que en algún momento hace unas cuantas décadas fue una "novedad" pero hoy en día se considera a esta prenda un clásico más de la moda.

La parte graciosa del día en que tomamos estas fotos es que amaneció súper nublado y según mi app del Weather Channel se venía una tormenta importante... lo cual luego terminó por ser una bruta falacia y salió el sol, traicionando así mi excusa para usarlo. De todos modos, no hay motivos para no sonreír en una linda tarde de verano... Ni siquiera si el trench te da calor. ;)

SÍ, TENGO EL FLEQUILLO MUY LARGO! EN CUALQUIER MOMENTO ME CONFUNDEN CON UN BEATLE...

For a while now I´ve been wanting to add a trench coat  to my closet... So I took advantage of the summer sales to get one at Zara, with a discount of course. It wasn´t a bargain because, hey, we´re not talking about a T-shirt. However I feel like I got it for a good price. 

This item has certainly got a very London-ish vibe, to which Burberry is completely guilty of, and of course a great ally for those chilly and cloudy days when it might rain. This piece, which I´m sure was a novelty a few dacades ago, has turned into an absolute closet staple.

Now, the funny thing is, the day we shot these pictures I awoke to a cloudy sky AND my weather channel app anticipated a storm later during the day. This, of course, turned out to be false because the sun came out and shone beautifully, making my excuse of wearing my new trench completely absurd. However, how could one refrain from smiling on a lovely summer afternoon? Not even if the trench is too warm. ;)
