¡Feliz viernes!

Hoy debería estar subiendo un nuevo video de belleza, pero con lo ajetreada que fue ésta semana, quedará para mañana. 

Por ende, quería compartir las fotos de un look súper casual que usé hace unos días cuando fuimos con Gui a turistear un poco. Como se imaginarán, una de las paradas obligadas en Roma es el Coliseo Romano. Justo en frente del mismo se encuentra el foro romano y el palatino, a donde se puede acceder con el mismo ticket… Un viaje en el tiempo sin lugar a dudas.

Dios nos regaló un día espléndido con sol y muy poco frío para disfrutar el paseo,  una caminata que culminó unas horas más tarde luego de disfrutar un delicioso gelatto (¡de pistacchio y fruti di bosco!) en Giolitti, una heladería emblemática de Roma que recomiendo visitar.

I should be posting a new beauty video today, but given how busy I was this week it´ll have to wait until tomorrow.

So, instead I wanted to share some pictures of a super casual outfit I wore a few days ago when Gui and I did a little tourism around Rome. As you might already imagine, one of the places you must visit is the Colosseum. Right next to it you can also find the Roman Forum and the Palatine and you can access all three places with one ticket only. A journey back in time is guaranteed. 

God gave us the gift of a beautiful day: sunny and not very cold so we could enjoy our tour, a long walk that ended deliciously well with a gelatto (pistacchio & fruti di bosco!) at Giolitti, a historical ice cream shop that you should totally visit if coming here.  

By the way, I wanted to ask you… Would you like for me to share a post with tips, places to go to and interesting finds from Rome?

Antes que nada, quería anunciar formalmente en el blog que el 1/11, como estaba previsto, hice el sorteo del kit de makeup que estaba regalando por los 2 años de este espacio. Lo anuncié por facebook, pero no quería dejar de hacerlo por acá!

Muchísimas gracias a todas las que participaron... Sepan que anoté todas las sugerencias que hicieron y tengo intenciones de ir poniéndolas en práctica poco a poco.

Ahora, vamos al post de hoy! 

Como pasé mi cumpleaños acá en Roma, decidí combatir la nostalgia de estar lejos de casa con una jornada de paseo por el centro de esta increíble ciudad y, por qué no, haciendo un poco de SHOPPING! Había muchísima gente, al nivel de un hormiguero humano INTENSO... con lo cual me abstuve de entrar en algunas tiendas. Sin embargo, una de las cosas que compré y les muestro en el look de hoy son éstas calzas escocesas de Calzedonia. Para quien no conozca la marca, les cuento que se dedica expresamente a todo lo que es medias, mediecitas, zoquetes, medivachas, bucaneras y calzas, etc.
Los precios son un poco más altos que en otros locales (éstas las pagué €20) pero son de una calidad INCREIBLE. 

El escocés, como estampado y textura, está muy presente en las colecciones de otoño/invierno y me encanta porque agrega un elemento de color y expresión a los conjuntos a veces aburridos de la temporada. También sumé una bufanda de la misma onda que verán cuando haga un poco más de frío.

Now, onto today´s post!
Give I spent my birthday here in Rome, I decided to avoid all kinds of gloomy and homesick feelings by treating myself to a day of sightseeing and shopping. To be honest, the city was very crowded, so I avoided certain stores. However, I did purchase a really cute piece that I´m sporting today: these tartan leggings! I got them at Calzedonia, a store that specifically sells all kinds of socks… and well, of course, leggings! 
Prices are a bit higher than other stores (i paid €20 for these) but the quality and fit are remarkable. 
As some of you might have noticed already, the whole tartan print and texture is having a moment this season which I actually love! I think it adds a pop of color and attitude to the otherwise dull winter looks. I also got a very nice scarf in a similar style, but you´ll see that one when it gets colder!
